Behold, our first loot this month – Satellite Winters and Spider in the Shell!! 😀

I”m glad with the reception of our first minis 😀 I’m excited to release all we have in store for Feb… and more 😉 I have another surprise that’s been requested both in our community and in the FB commnuity. Something to try out to see if ya’ll like it 🙂 If it’s received well, we’ll continue it.. monthly? We’ll see 🙂

I received remarks of our last releases in January that the supports were getting too dense. I think I’ve improved them here. If these are perfect, then I think I’ve got the hang of what’s need for pre-supporting and will keep doing the same method onwards. I appreciate all your patience in my road of making good pre-supports.

For our Satellite Winters, not much instruction here, just be careful with removing the supports in the gun area. It’s always best to submerge the minis in hot water after IPA for around 30 seconds to be able to remove the supports easier. Also watch for some mini supports throughout the pouches and armor areas. They’re easily removed with an X-Acto knife.

Loving this print too! I’ve recently got the Anycubic Wash N Cure Plus. However, for small minis like our girl here, I don’t use the spin feature for her but instead dip n raise her mini in the alcohol container for around 2-4 minutes manually. I found that sometimes, the spin is too strong and may hit other models and damage or cut off her tiny fingers. For her mech, I had to just be careful with removing supports in the claw areas.

Both minis were printed on the Elegoo Mars 3 with 0.04 layer height, 3s exposure, and 60 lift speed.

Heya everyone!

Gen here 🙂 We’ve sent out a retro form a month ago where one of the questions was where’d you find out about C27. Majority of our community that answered the form came from the FB Group – 3D Printing for MCP. A few weeks ago, the admin of the group asked if any of the designers or painters would like to give something back to the community. Well, of course I replied and said we at C27 very much would love to do this!

So I posted a new discussion in the group and asked them to comment their suggested model to for me to make to give to them free as a thank you gift for being very accommodating to our posts and discussions. I’ve picked 10 of their suggestions and of course it’s up to you, our amazing Patreon community to vote for the winner!

This means apart from our monthly release this February, I’ll also be making whoever wins this poll 😀 I’ll add them to our C27 Vault and also give out a download link to the 3D Printing for MCP Facebook group 🙂

Only one rule really, please vote for your TOP THREE only. The results come in Excel format on my side where I can run a formula to remove any lines that have more than three votes so please only vote for three! 😀 The poll will run until the 5th of February 🙂

Took a lot of testing to get the details pop out,
Really happy how the bricks showed in the print.

Few note for printing the Daily Trumpet
The 3rd floor is optional so if you want to make your building taller or shorter you can reduce or add more floors if you want 🙂
Same as the FoodTruck you can remove the pegs if it doesn’t work for you.
In my case i just cut it off and used it as a marker on where i should place it.

Size 3 Released!

Few notes on the Food Truck printing
I added pegs and hole for for the parts.
Depending on your printer and settings it may or may not be used.
During my test i decided to cut it and just made it my guide/mark on where to glue the parts.

And lastly depending on your preference.
The STLs were printed based on the orientation upon opening the file.
I did that kind of orientation so that i could get the details, especially on the Menu object.

Heya everyone!

Wow! This month has been craaazy fun. We’ve released a ton of stuff! Such a good way to start the year 😀 From initally releasing our 400 Patreon Achievement Reward of The Gamesmaster to reaching 500 with The Odd Surgeon VS Puertomadremoo along with our 10 monthly loot crate for characters and our Size 1-4 terrain kit. Now I’ve also included our previous scale model (Limbo Queen) and made her miniature scale 😀 I really enjoyed this month!! Tacos and I  appreciate you all very much 😀 We’re looking forward to making much more awesome stuff with you all 😀 We’ve got lots of plans moving forward!

Test prints for all three minis were very successful 😀 For Limbo Queen, be careful in peeling off the supports in her crown area, sword, and arms. They’re quite delicate! 

For Dr. Acula, I’ve scaled him a little bigger than in the test print. Seemed a little small to me but since I’ve included the Lychee Scene, feel free to scale up or down according to your preference.  Also, his fingers are delicate. Feel free to use a proper cutting tool to make precise cuts to the support. Again, I’d recommend submerging the mini in hot water after curing for around 30 seconds for the supports to easily be peeled off 🙂

Lastly, I included two variations to Licky Tongue’s costume. There’s a number of our patrons that requested it so I’ve added the civilian costume together with the classic jester. And also be careful when taking off the supports of the fingers! 

These are all printed on the Elegoo Mars 3, 0.05 layer height, 2.5 exposure time, 60 lift speed 🙂

Don’t forget that you can download 7z Pack files that are zipped and much smaller to download 😀 

So yeah 😀 Looking forward to next month’s releases! I’ll already be able to release quite a few this weekend. I’m trying to our releases during the weekends mostly so you can expect some C27 goodness coming your way <3

These test prints came out CRISP! Dang I’m so happy with the depth of Mr Boom’s clothing. I feel like we’re getting the hand of how deep cuts should be in order for it to be seen on our prints. I’m also reaaaally loving how The Walking Rug’s fur looks when printed!

When inserting Mr. Boom’s “Boom” effect, be careful as to not break his fingers! it’s possible to insert the full hand when wiggling it in, but it’s safer to glue it on with right before his thumb.

For the Walking Rug, there are some mini supports around his face and fur. Try to take then off before priming if possible. Although their not too distracting from the overall sculpt.

These were all printed using the Elegoo Mars 3, layer height at 0.04, exposure at 3s, and lift speed at 60.

I’ve included the Lychee Scene in the January Loot Crate > Lychee Scenes folder for easy access.

I’ve also included the 7z zipped pack files so it’s lighter when downloading 😀

I’ll be releasing our last 2 minis tomorrow! They’re going through their final phase and will be test printed tonight 🙂
